Shane Fuller is co-founder of Them Cloud Kids—a nonprofit organization started by Rutgers University-Newark students that aims to unite, uplift, and empower all through Ubuntu. Them Cloud Kids strives to bridge the gap between universities and their outlying communities. Through various programs and events, Them Cloud Kids spreads the philosophy of Ubuntu. The late activist Nelson Mandela advocated the philosophy of Ubuntu, which translates to human kindness and compassion.
Shane, a Montclair native, is a singer and performer. He was featured in the RU 250 video as the student representative for RU–N. Shane graduated in May 2016 with a degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from the Rutgers University-Newark School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA). He has been accepted to the master’s program at SPAA for the fall of 2016, and will soon be completing his educational journey at Rutgers University-Newark.
